Welcome to Google, Geoff Davis!

One of my goals at Google has been to recruit the people that I think are a good match for the culture here — and today the first of those recruiting goals became a reality: Plone luminary and all-around-excellent dude Geoff Davis accepted an offer to work with us as a User Experience Researcher.

For those of you who have been with Plone for more than a year, the name is probably familiar to you.

Dr. Geoff Davis is responsible for a lot of the goodness in Plone — CacheFu and the Form Controller machinery, among other things.

As a bonus, he's going to be working in the same team as I am: Google User Experience. Oh, and he'll be moving from North Carolina to California — which means the Plone Cabal here in San Francisco will get to see him more often too.

Welcome, Geoff!

Alexander Limi makes software easier to use. One of the founders of the open source project Plone, he currently lives in San Francisco, and previously worked at Jarn & Google. These days, he works at Mozilla on the Firefox browser.
